Names have always been hard for me to remember. The older I get, this flaw gets worse. It isn’t good to not know someone’s name. Being a middle child, no one seemed to remember my name. I felt like I was invisible. It really shakes up your self confidence when people don’t see you. Then you do stuff to be seen, and it usually doesn’t have a very good outcome. That’s why I wanted to come to Ohio to see my son. He is doing very well. I want to notice him while he is doing good things, so he doesn’t have to do something bad to be noticed. That is a real danger for MK’s and PK’s. They are ignored until they mess up. I want to catch Deannie Jr. doing good things, not bad things. I am having a great time in Burton Ohio with my son, my sister Diann and her husband Bill Finzel.
In the business world I used nicknames to remember people. I still have a very bad habit of nick naming people mentally by obvious outstanding traits they have. That´s how I remember them. Before I became a christian, I ONLY could seem to remember someone´s name IF they were important to my job. One time I saw an old customer of mine from the car business. I could not remember his name, so I quietly followed him out to the Wal-Mart parking lot. When I saw his car, I immediately remembered his name and everything about him. It was only then that I said hi to him. I remembered him, once I saw the connection in my mind. Names are important only if you are interested in that person.
I always wonder why God wanted Adam to name the animals. Also, I wondered why that was important enough for Him to mention it in His Word. Another thing I ask is the reason for the genealogies? I used to just kind of skim over those sections, right? Then it struck me that these were real people that God felt significant enough to know and mention by name, or at least by deed. God is aware of everything. I noticed *as today’s reading said* when the look on Cain’s face was ugly, God noticed it! God is keenly aware of us, our attitudes, our hearts and our actions. He also is aware of the sparrows that Adam named. All His creation is important to Him. He wants us to be aware too.
People want you to remember their name because it tells them that they are significant in your eyes, that they are NOT invisible. We are about making At-Risk children feel significant. We want them to have character, to have a good NAME and thereby becoming VISIBLE (in their own eyes). One of the most important things we do is remember their names. If any kids in any of the pictures on facebook etc. strike your attention, please ask me and I will tell you their names and the story that goes with each and everyone of them. They are all precious in His sight.

Nombres siempre han sido difíciles para mí a recordar. Cuanto lo mayor me hago, este defecto empeora. No es bueno que no sé el nombre de alguien. Ser un hijo del medio, nadie parecía recordar mi nombre. Me sentí como si fuera invisible. Realmente sacude su confianza en uno mismo cuando la gente no te vean. A continuación, hacer cosas para ser visto, y por lo general no tiene un bueno resultado. Es por eso que quería venir a Ohio para ver a mi hijo. Él está haciendo muy bien. Quiero fijarse en él, mientras que él está haciendo cosas buenas, para evitar que el haga algo malo para llamar la atencion. Eso es un verdadero peligro para los hijos de misioneros y pastores. Ellos se ignoran hasta que echan a perder. Quiero coger Deannie Jr. haciendo cosas buenas, cosas malas no. Estoy teniendo un gran tiempo en Burton Ohio con mi hijo, mi hermana Diann y su esposo Bill Finzel.
En el mundo de los negocios usé apodos para recordar personas. Todavía tengo una muy mala costumbre de dar apodos a las personas mentalmente por los rasgos sobresalientes obvias que tienen. Eso es como les recuerdo.. Antes de ser cristiano, sólo podía recordar el nombre de gente si eran importantes para mi trabajo. Una vez que vi a un cliente mío de el negocio de automóviles. No podía recordar su nombre, así que tranquilamente lo siguió hasta el estacionamiento de Wal-Mart. Cuando vi su coche, de inmediato recorde su nombre y todo lo relacionado con él. Fue entonces cuando le dije hola a él. Le recorde una vez que vi la conexión en mi mente. Los nombres son importantes sólo si usted está interesado en esa persona.
Siempre me pregunto por qué Dios quería que Adán nombrara a los animales. Además, me pregunto por qué este actor era lo suficientemente importante como para que él menciona en su Palabra. Otra cosa que pido es la razón de las genealogías? Solía leo sólo un poco de las secciones, ¿verdad? Entonces se me ocurrió que se trataba de personas reales que Dios sentía lo suficientemente importantes como para conocer y mencionar por su nombre. Dios está al tanto de todo. Me di cuenta de * como la lectura de hoy, dijo * cuando la expresión del rostro de Caín era feo, Dios se dio cuenta! Dios es muy consciente de nosotros, nuestras actitudes, nuestros corazones y nuestras acciones. También es consciente de los gorriones que Adán nombró. Toda Su creación es importante para Él. Él quiere que seamos conscientes también.
La gente quiere que recuerden su nombre porque se les dice que son significativos, que no son invisibles. Nosotros en Corazon Puro tratamos de hacer que los niños se sientan importantes. Queremos que tengan buena carácter, tener un buen nombre y convirtiéndose así son VISIBLES (en sus propios ojos, y en los ojos de los demas). Una de las cosas más importantes que hacemos es recordar sus nombres. Si algún niño en cualquiera de las fotos en facebook, etc. llamen a su atención, por favor me pregunta y yo te diré sus nombres y la historia que va con todos y cada uno de ellos. Todos son preciosos en su vista.
“Señor, ayúdame a tener el mismo amor y el interés por los demás que usted tiene para ellos. Sé que su ojo está en el gorrión, y es en mí también. Yo creo, pero ayudame con mi incredulidad. Ayúdame a ver a los demás de la forma que se ve usted. Ayúdame a actuar en su nombre, para ayudar a los invisibles.. Aumenta mi fe y la memoria, para que pueda prestar más atención a los demás y recordar sus nombres. Tu Palabra dice que es posible “
