Matthew 6:25-34New King James Version (NKJV)

Worry is sin.  *imho, if you do something that Jesus says not to do, i think that’s sin.*

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

As I have told you,, I sin every day!
Worry is my greatest sin.  I am a worry wart!  I wake up in the middle of the night in cold sweats saying to myself, ‘ this is the end of the rope, I am insane putting my family through this”  I fall back to sleep in a tortured state.  But every morning, I wake up, and it is all good~!
EVERY DAY is a miracle LITERALLY!  My kids still are still in school, healthy and happy.  We have GOOD friends. My wife and kids still love me and visa versa.  We have food for the feeding center. Even the fact  that we are still here in Managua, still feeding the kids, still operating a pre k, still united as a family with a roof over our heads, and food in our bellies goes to show you that ALL MY WORRY IS FOR NOTHING.  I think your worries are for nothing as well. The fact that you are reading this is a living testament that you worried for nothing.   EVEN IF WORRYING COULD CHANGE ANYTHING, the victory after a sleepless night is well worth it.  I love having praise reports about a victory that God won, and you can’t have a victory without a battle.  I think that’s why Kind David said that he waits for God as a sentry waits for the dawn *for those soldiers out there, they know what THAT’s like* , and that God’s mercies are new every morning.
NOW, here’s the rub.  We are here to nourish, help and to ‘teach’ the poor kids in Nicaragua about how to live a life that is pleasing to God. | saw a thing saying America should catch up with the rest of the world, minimum wage wise.  I think that’s true, compared to Europe, minimum wage in the states should be raised.  I was working in a food bank when I was visiting my mother for the last time, all the food bank recipients had full time jobs.  They were worried about how to live on 7.25 an hour.  NOW, imagine this fact, 99 % of the population of the world lives on around 2 dollars a day, or less. *including Nicaragua*.  Yet when you walk past the huts that the poorest of the poor live in, you hear laughter and singing.  Our kids who’s parents work in the dump, come up to us happy, without a care in the world.  They are so happy that we come to give them food.  They do not worry about tomorrow *although I, the great teacher, DO!’ My bums in the street and thrilled to see me, they may want a slug of guaro, but other than that they don’t worry about a thing..;.. and here I am Mr. Worrier.
Every day, I worry, Every day God provides.  Not, once, not twice, but 24/7/365X57 years and counting.
I worry about the finances, i worry about the kids in the feeding center, I worry about my own family’s needs and issues, but GOD is already behind the scenes, taking care of everything before i even know there’s a problem,, wow!  I guess instead of worrying I should pray, trust and obey God, and let Him figure out the rest. He’s a lot better at all of this than I am.
