A definition of brainwashing could be “an indoctrination that blinds the mind to the truth”
While most male Christians have hobbies in stuff like guns, cars, or watching sports on tv, mine is psychology. I even got a degree in it.
My fascination with human behavior started when I got a part time job in a psyche ward while stationed las a soldier in MDW. What an interesting, satisfying part time job! I have been hooked on psychology ever since.
When I got commissioned, I even begged to get psy-ops as my career identifier. I got put into the Engineers instead .
What impacted me so much in the psyche ward was that crazy people don’t know they’re crazy. When you tell them they’re crazy, they laugh condescendingly at you because they are sure that YOU are the crazy one.
Mental health issues are basically being permanently blinded-to-the-truth, mentally speaking. Like I said, brainwashed.
Here is an example that explains mental illness the best; Imagine coming home from work one night, entering your house, and your wife and kids look at you weird and call the police. You tell the police that this is your house and your family of 15 years. The police say, ‘”no, this is not your house nor your family, and if you come back again these nice strangers will have YOU, a complete STRANGER to them, arrested!!!” Can you imagine how you would feel? Somehow, somewhere you have been brainwashed unknowingly. That is how most crazy people feel, all the time. Their TRUTH is NOT TRUE.
While mental illness is permantent, there are temporary moments of sanity. When the sick person has a lucid moment, they talk to you normally and you see them fighting back terror and desperation because they know they’re sick. An hour later they are crazy again, happy as a lark in their dillusion. Kind of makes you wonder which is more merciful, doping them back to a painful reality or just let them fly their freak flag 24/7/365.
Mentally ill people are brainwashed. They have had their minds ‘washed’ or blinded to the truth by bio-chemistry, bad experiences, stress, thyroid problems, physical brain damage, tumors, demons, some other type of imbalance or a combination of all of the above. I think it’s usually a combination.
Loving family members of lunatics are collateral damage because they blame themselves for their loved one’s sickness. They live in turmoil for the rest of their lives because there is no cure for their beloved family member. Christian platitudes, pep talks, unsolicited advice, half-hearted empty prayers, google searches for cures, books pamphlets and websites sent to be read etc are infuriatingly stupid and a complete waste of breath. Two books are great, as far as I know “The Bible” and “I’m ok, I don’t need help”
As you know, Nicaragua is in a turmoil. It is as if the whole country is going crazy ( brainwashed). It seems the minority is controlling things. The minority is dominant because their brains are thoroughly washed. I have NEVER seen mass brainwashing, but if I did, this would be it.
Today I talked politics and current events with a long time trusted Christian friend. I was floored by how brainwashed this person was. Absolutely blinded to the facts and the truth. In fact I have many friends (at a surprisingly growing rate) completely brain washed by the convictions of the brain washed minority.
Brainwashing is contagious IF the brainwashed person has been brainwashed enough. They are so convicted and convincing that they WILL brain wash others. I feel the effects on me even, after talking at length with my friend today.
I truly am starting to fear for this beautiful country. It is as if it’s a funny farm that is slowly being taken over by the patients. IF I believed in it, I would call it ‘hysterical group psychosis (brainwashing)’. They are blinding each other to the truth, and this is very dangerous. Like I said, it almost seems like the brainwashed are psychotic.
Contagious brainwashing reminds me of when I was evangelizing an indian tribe for a couple of years. I befriended the witch doctor. Instead of just bickering with each other, we decided that it would be more profitable if each of us would tell a story from our faith, every day. He started by telling me about how one day there will be no water and you will need a white chicken to find the hidden springs of water. Then I told him about how Jesus fed the multitudes with a little bread and some dried fish. Well, the next day, I got lost in the jungle and went a couple days without sleep, food or water. I started hallucinating and I promised myself ‘as soon as I find a village I am going to buy myself a white chicken!” The witch doctor brainwashed me a little bit.
The whole world today ( not just Nicaragua) has been brainwashed into ways of evil. But brain “washing” is not what Satan has actually done. Washing makes something clean; Brain-BLINDING-TO-THE-TRUTH is a better description. Satan has “brain-blinded-to-the-truth” the minds of humanity with filth, so that humans want to do evil, thinking it’s good.
Unfortunately, just as mental illness is forever so is brainwashing. I know people who have been brainwashed their whole lives.
The good news is Jesus! Jesus can heal a brainwashed mind just as He can return a crazy person to their senses.
You can let Jesus’ love sweep and wash clean your minds. That too is contagious in a good way! Jesus, and only Jesus, can even cure the most demented brainwashed person in the world.
“let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water” (Hebrews 10:22 KJV)
Church, let’s get “brainwashed” by Jesus!
“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for it; That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:25-27 KJV)
How do we brainwash ourselves? By washing our minds with the Word of God.

LAVADO CEREBRAL

Una definición de lavado de cerebro podría ser “un adoctrinamiento que ciega la mente a la verdad”
La mayoría de los cristianos varones están interesados en cosas como pistolas, autos o ver deportes en la televisión. A mi me interesa la psicología. Tengo un título aun!
Mi fascinación por el comportamiento humano comenzó cuando conseguí un trabajo de medio tiempo en una sala psiquiátrica mientras estaba estacionado como un E6 en el Distrito Militar de Washingtin DC. ¡Qué trabajo tan interesante y satisfactorio!
Lo que me fascinó tanto en la sala psiquiátrica fue que los locos no saben que están locos. Cuando les dices que están locos, se ríen condescendientemente de ti porque están seguros de que TÚ eres el loco.
Los problemas de salud mental es una cegura a la verdad, mentalmente hablando. Este ejemplo explica mejor las enfermedades mentales; Imagine que llega a casa del trabajo una noche, entra a su casa, y su esposa y sus hijos lo miran raro y llaman a la policía. Usted le dice a la policía que esta es su casa y su familia de 15 años. La policía dice: “¡No, esta no es tu casa ni tu familia, y si vuelves otra vez, estos lindos extraños te tendrán a TI, un EXTRAÑO completo para ellos, arrestado!” ¿Puedes imaginar cómo te sentirías? Lo que es verdadero para un lunático NO ES VERDADERO. Sería el material de una gran película de terror.
Cuando la persona enferma tiene un momento lúcido, te hablan normalmente y los ves luchando contra el terror y la desesperación porque saben que están enfermos. Una hora más tarde están locos de nuevo, felices en su atontamiento. Te hace pensar qué es más misericordioso, volviéndolos a una realidad dolorosa por medio de medicina,o simplemente dejándolos volar su bandera loca 24/7/365.
Las personas mentalmente enfermas han tenido sus mentes “lavadas” o cegadas a la verdad por bioquímica, malas experiencias, estrés, problemas de tiroides, daño cerebral físico, demonios, algún otro tipo de desequilibrio o una combinación de todo lo anterior. Creo que generalmente es una combinación.
Como saben, Nicaragua está en una crisis. Es como si todo el país estuviera loco. Parece que la minoría controla las cosas. La minoría es dominante porque sus cerebros están completamente lavados. NUNCA HE VISTO lavado de cerebro masivo, pero si lo hiciera, esto sería todo.
Hoy hablé de política y eventos actuales con un amigo cristiano de mucho tiempo. Me sorprendió el lavado de cerebro de esta persona. Absolutamente cegado a los hechos y la verdad. De hecho, tengo muchos amigos (a un ritmo sorprendentemente creciente) completamente lavado por las convicciones de la minoría lavada por el cerebro.
El lavado de cerebro es contagioso. Están tan convencidos de que lavarán el cerebro de los demas. Siento los efectos en mí incluso, después de hablar largo y tendido con mi amigo hoy.
Realmente estoy empezando a temer por este hermoso país. Es como si fuera un manicomio donde los pacientes toman control. SI yo creía en él, lo llamaría ‘psicosis histérica grupal’. Se están cegando el uno al otro a la verdad, y esto es muy peligroso. Como dije, casi parece que el cerebro lavado es una condicion psicótica.
El lavado de cerebro contagioso me recuerda cuando estaba evangelizando a una tribu indigenous durante un par de años. Me hice amigo del brujo. En lugar de discutir solo entre nosotros, decidimos que cada uno de nosotros contara una historia de nuestra fe, todos los días. Él chamán comenzó diciéndome cómo vendrá un día donde no habrá agua y necesitarás un pollo blanco para encontrar los manantiales de agua escondidos. Luego le conté cómo Jesús alimentó a las multitudes con un poco de pan y un poco de pescado seco. Bueno, al día siguiente, me perdí en la jungla y pasé un par de días sin dormir, sin comida ni agua. Empecé a alucinarme y me prometí a mí mismo “¡tan pronto como encuentre un pueblo, me compraré un pollo blanco!”. El curandero me lavó el cerebro un poco.
El mundo de hoy ha sido lavado de cerebro en formas de maldad. Pero “lavar” el cerebro no es lo que Satanás realmente ha hecho. El lavado hace que algo esté limpio; CegarLaMenteALaVerdas es una mejor descripción. Satanás tiene “cerebro cegado a la verdad”, las mentes de la humanidad con la inmundicia, por lo que los humanos quieren hacer el mal, pensando que es bueno.
La buena noticia es que puedes dejar que el amor de Jesús limpie y lave tus mentes. ¡Eso también es contagioso en el buen sentido!
“acerquémonos con un corazón verdadero con plena seguridad de fe, teniendo nuestros corazones salidos de mala conciencia, y nuestros cuerpos lavados con agua pura “(Hebreos 10:22 KJV)
¡Iglesia, vamos a “lavarnos el cerebro” por Jesús!
“Esposos, amen a vuestras mujeres, así como también Cristo amó a la iglesia, y se entregó por ella, para santificarla y purificarla con el lavado de las aguas por la Palabra, para presentársela a Sí mismo una iglesia gloriosa, sin tener mancha, o arruga, o algo por el estilo, pero que debe ser santo y sin mancha “. (Efesios 5: 25-27 KJV)
¿Cómo nos lavamos el cerebro? Lavándonos la mente con la Palabra de Dios.
