WILL (Lord’s Prayer / Pt4 / Long but worth it!)

Matthew 6:10 Thy will be done…..
We are learning here, through Jesus’ instructions, how to talk to Our Heavenly Father, who is Holy and has a Kingdom.
Jesus leads by example. He is teaching us how to pray, and how to submit to God’s perfect will. I personally find that the more I pray, the more my will aligns to His will. Prayers (those that pray) get previews. You see, just a little bit, where He’s going, and you like it. The more you pray, the cleaner His message and less mistakes you make. You then want to pray more and more, and consequently you are more and more in sync with Him. Even IF you DON’T want to do what He shows you to do, you do it anyway. You know it’s for the best! Even if something bad happens to you (which probably ISN’T His will for you) you can rejoice in Romans 8:28 “all thing work for the good of those who love the Lord”
Jesus is the best authority on praying and submitting because HE knows how to pray and submit better than anyone else. Nothing is more frustrating than having a teacher who doesn’t have a strong grasp on the subject matter. Jesus is a great leader and teacher. To be a true leader you not only have to know how to follow, but how to teach effectively as well. Leaders multiply themselves, (almost like cloning). Christians call is “making disciples”. Although I absolutely cringe at the thought of pudgy, bald ‘Dean Peters clones’ running around upsetting everybody, the thought of making Jesus clones is thrilling. Jesus is teaching us to pray and submit, as well as to lead and teach. All Christians are leaders. We are leading people to heaven. God’s will is that we “Go and make disciples” Matthew 28:19
Leaders are made not born. Following Jesus makes us leaders, and I think that’s why it is necessary for most of us to get banged up pretty good before we get saved. I think that the reason that many officers in the army were so amusing to watch is because many of them we never spanked by life. They grew up pretty entitled. A lot of them never had to buckle down and follow someone’s authority, as in a real job. You could tell an officer who grew up lower to middle class, having to struggle to work their way through college in order to receive their butter bar. They were the ones that had to bite their tongues and obey their past bosses, because they NEEDED their jobs. These guys are much better leaders than those who didn’t have to suffer like that.
Most good leaders, military or other wise , are pretty strong willed. Strong wills are developed in child hood. Strong willed kids are not bad kids. I LOVE THEM! Most of the kids we work with are EXTREMELY STRONG WILLED! Strong willed kids aren’t a result of being spoiled. It’s usually the opposite. They end up taking care of their parents and siblings. They are strong willed because their characters have been forged through trials. Bad bosses, bad jobs, tough breaks in life make great leaders and even better Christians down the road. God does not have GrandChildren. Each and everyone has to come to God on their own. Usually after some pretty tough experiences. It’s a good thing. Read Psalm 107. That is why Jesus teaches us to tell God THY WILL BE DONE. Faith (being persuaded) begins where the will of God is known.
Strong willed kids turn into strong willed adults. They see what needs to done, soldier up, and do it. Scared, terrified, doubting, questioning, exhausted, under confident, it doesn’t matter. Strong willed children turn into strong willed men and women. They ‘will’ to do it and it gets done. Usually in obedience to the chain of command. To be a leader you have to know how to submit to stuff that doesn’t make sense to you at the time. I think we are going to be walking around in heaven someday, stopping every 5 minutes slapping our foreheads saying OHHHHHHH, I get it now!!!!
Jesus had a strong will. He grew up poor. He worked as a finished carpenter. He made precision high quality ox yokes the legends have it. Ox yokes had to be exact or they would chafe and injure the ox. Finished carpenters usually work for a lot of rich people. Rich people are difficult to work for. He led men all day and prayed in the early morning. Of course back then there was no electricity, iPhones nor tv, making it easier to get up early, because everyone was asleep by 7 pm anyway.
One early morning when Jesus was especially terrified, He repeated this part, of this prayer that He taught us just now….
Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
He followed OUR Father’s perfect will to save our souls. Sometimes you need an extremely strong will to submit to God’s perfect will.
We as born again believers have a strong will too. We run from sin, sacrifice to help others, spend time reading God’s Word and praying when we could be watching TV. That all takes will power. Faith helps will power. We are to put our strong wills under God, and take God’s will into account in all things.
James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

VOLUNTAD (Oración del Señor / Pt4 / Largo, ¡pero vale la pena!)
Mateo 6:10 hágase tu voluntad.
Estamos aprendiendo aquí, a través de las instrucciones de Jesús, cómo hablar con nuestro Padre Celestial, que es Santo y tiene un Reino.
Jesús nos guía por ejemplo. Él nos está enseñando cómo orar y cómo someternos a la perfecta voluntad de Dios. Personalmente cuanto más oro, más se alinea mi voluntad con Su voluntad. Los oradores obtienen vistas previas. Usted ve a dónde va, y le gusta. Cuanto más ores, más limpio será Su mensaje y menos errores cometerás. Entonces quieres orar más y más, y en consecuencia estás más y más en sincronía con Él. Incluso si no quieres hacer lo que Él te indica que hagas, lo haces de todos modos. Sabes que es lo mejor! Incluso si algo malo te sucede (lo que probablemente NO ES su voluntad para ti), puedes regocijarte en Romanos 8:28 “todo funciona para el bien de los que aman al Señor”
Jesús es la mejor autoridad para orar y someterse, porque EL sabe cómo orar y someterse mejor que nadie. No hay nada más frustrante que tener un profesor que no tiene un conocimiento sólido del tema. Jesús es un gran líder y maestro. Para ser un verdadero líder, no solo debes saber cómo seguir, sino también enseñar. Los líderes se multiplican, (casi como la clonación). La llamada de los cristianos es “hacer discípulos”.Aunque me estremezco absolutamente al pensar en los “clones de Dean Peters” aterroizando todo el mudno, el pensamiento de hacer clones a Jesús es emocionante. Jesús nos está enseñando a orar y someternos, así como a dirigir y enseñar. Todos los cristianos son líderes. Estamos guiando los demas al cielo, como dijo Jeus, ld y haga discípulos” Mateo 28:19.
Los líderes se hacen no son nacidos. Seguir a Jesús nos hace líderes, y creo que es por eso que es necesario que la mayoría de nosotros seamos golpeados bastante bien antes de ser salvos. Creo que la razón por la que muchos oficiales en el ejército fueron tan divertidos de ver es porque muchos de ellos crecieron con bastante derecho. Muchos de ellos nunca tuvieron que ceder y seguir la autoridad de alguien, como en un trabajo real. Podrías distinguir a un oficial que creció de clase media a media, que tuvo que luchar para llegar a la universidad para recibir su comision. Fueron los que tuvieron que morderse la lengua y obedecer a sus jefes anteriores, porque NECESITABAN sus trabajos. Estos tipos eran mucho mejores líderes que aquellos que no tenían que sufrir así.
La mayoría de los buenos líderes, militares u otros, tienen una voluntad bastante fuerte. Se desarrollan voluntades fuertes en su ninez. Los niños de voluntad fuerte no son niños malos. ¡LOS AMO! La mayoría de los niños con los que trabajamos son EXTREMADAMENTE FUERTES de caracter.. Los niños de voluntad fuerte no son el resultado de ser mimados. Por lo general es lo contrario. Terminan cuidando a sus padres y hermanos. Tienen una fuerte voluntad porque sus personajes han sido forjados a través de pruebas. Los malos jefes, los malos trabajos, cosas en la vida hacen de grandes líderes encluso mejores cristianos en el futuro. Dios no tiene nietos. Cada uno tienen que venir a Dios por su cuenta. Por lo general, después de algunas experiencias bastante difíciles. Es algo bueno. Lee el Salmo 107. Asi dicimos, Hagase Su voluntad! La Fe (convencido) empiece cuando uno sabe que es la voluntad de Dios.
Los niños de voluntad fuerte se convierten en adultos de voluntad fuerte. Ellos ven lo que hay que hacer, y lo hacen. Asustado, aterrorizado, dudando, cuestionando, agotado, no importa. Los niños de voluntad fuerte se convierten en hombres y mujeres de voluntad fuerte. Ellos ‘quieren’ hacerlo y se hace. Generalmente en obediencia. Para ser un líder, debes saber cómo someterte a cosas que no tienen sentido para ti en ese momento. Creo que algún día vamos a estar caminando por el cielo, parando cada 5 minutos abofeteando nuestras frentes diciendo OHHHHHHH, ahora lo entiendo!
Jesús tenía una voluntad fuerte. Creció pobre. Trabajó como carpintero. Hizo precisión yugosde alta calidad para bueyes , las dicen las leyendas . Los carpinteros generalmente trabajan para muchas personas ricas. Él tambien guió a los discipulos todo el día y oró temprano en la mañana. Por supuesto, en aquel entonces no había electricidad, ni iPhones ni televisión, lo que hacía más fácil levantarse temprano, porque todos dormían a las 7 pm de todos modos.
Una mañana temprano, cuando Jesús estaba especialmente aterrorizado, repitió esta parte de esta oración que nos enseñó justo ahora …
Lucas 22:42 diciendo: Padre, si quieres, quítame esta copa; pero no se haga mi voluntad, sino la tuya.
Él siguió la perfecta voluntad de NUESTRO Padre para salvar nuestras almas. A veces necesitas una voluntad extremadamente fuerte para someterte a la perfecta voluntad de Dios.
Nosotros, como nacidos de nuevo,también tenemos una fuerte voluntad. Escapamos del pecado, sacrificamos para ayudar a otros, pasamos tiempo leyendo la Palabra de Dios y orando cuando podríamos estar viendo la televisión. Que todo lleva fuerza de voluntad. La fe ayuda a la fuerza de voluntad. Debemos poner nuestras voluntades bajo de voluntad de Dios, y tomar en cuenta la voluntad de Dios en todas las cosas.
Santiago 4:13 Vayan ahora, vosotros que decís: Hoy o mañana iremos a una ciudad así, y continuaremos allí un año, compraremos y venderemos, y ganaremos. 14 Considerando que no sabéis lo que habrá en el día siguiente. ¿Para qué es tu vida? Incluso es un vapor, que aparece durante un poco de tiempo, y luego desaparece.
15 Por lo cual debéis decir: Si el Señor quiere, viviremos y haremos esto o aquello.
