IN OTHER WORDS, IF YOU MUST BE ANGRY, DON’T HAVE A TEMPER TANTRUM. CONTROL YOURSELF.
As an MP in the Army (only about a year in the MPs, a total blast btw!), a soldier was beating up his 90 lb. wife. When I was booking him, he said “I just can’t control myself with her”. I said, “yet here I am! I am a man, your size, and you can control yourself with me”. Never liked bullies. But unless you are a mad-man, you can always control yourself. Be angry (ok, we’re normal) but don’t sin.
I used to have a problem with anger, even as a Christian. I always justified it as “righteous anger”. Problem is, it took me 30 years before I found out it wasn’t Biblical for me to be angry ‘righteously’. While “righteous anger” isn’t explicitly used in the KJV, the concept is present as the anger of God! In case you haven’t noticed, we are not God!!! Good thing too!!! Psalms 7:11 states, “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day!” Also God’s anger is reflected in Jesus’ cleansing of the temple (John 2:13-16), where His anger was directed at the corruption of God’s house. In case we haven’t noticed, we aren’t Jesus either.
We all blow it and get angry! To this day I still get angry, hopefully less and less. I just control it, and will no longer justify it as a biblical right.
Let’s use politics for an example. It’s the hotbed. I have friends who are democrats and republicans. I just don’t talk about it. But I am going to write these thoughts down.
At first the leftists were my sworn enemy. But then, I became extremely interested in the leftist movement down here, believe it or not. I even voted along their ‘guidelines’ at first when I was back in the states. Everyone be nice nice and coddle each other were their guidelines, I thought. Hippy peace and love. In theory it works. Read Acts. Once you get people involved and actually try it though, it’s a stinky mess. Every time! Like in the circuses, with a bunch of clowns falling out of the back of an ambulance, peeing on each other and blowing horns when one of them bends over. The ‘flotilla’ is the perfect example of the stinky mess.
As I got closer to the left, I looked around me and saw that, as a group, they were all angry about one thing or another, always. Even way back then, they were always talking about how bad America and conservatives were, dragging each other into an outraged frenzy, always. I’ll bet their lifespans are shorter. Anger not only kills other people, but it kills the spreaders and carriers as well.
Even as a heathen, I knew there was something basically, spiritually very wrong with the whole leftist anger movement. Bad to the marrow. Dangerous. I have learned that the weakest people are the scariest. They attack you behind your back. Angry people are emotionally weak and cowardly. Deadly. Anger makes everyone and everything ugly. Politics especially. Anger is d’anger’ous to everything it touches.
The day I totally got saved, I started reading the Bible. The Word of God told me directly. He said to leave that way of the (angry) which to me was clearly the leftists. They, as a group, are an angry, argumentative, dysfunctional people.
I love the radical left. I don’t want to hurt them. I don’t want to lose friends and family. They need to get saved, like I was. But I did get saved from hell, praise God, and can’t condone that party’s damning angry attitude. It’s demonic and affects everyone that’s a part of it. FMLN, Sendero Luminoso, FARC, Antifa, even political parties not as extreme have that same demonic inclination. Kenneth Hagin called it a ‘stinky’ spirit, haha.
Satan influences all of the left the same way. I think it’s a demon. Calling good bad and bad good. Lying. Whatever God is for, they are automatically against. Whatever God’s against they are automatically for. Although they are very generous with other people’s money (tax dollars), as a party, individually, many are stingy. If they are generous, it’s often for ridiculous causes. But over all, in normal life they are skinflints. They say the ends justify the means but it’s diabolical, and they all have that certain ‘thing’ about them.
I saw first hand, pastors and seminarians, leave their churches and seminaries, to grab an AK 47 and head to the mountains where they committed horribly barbaric acts against innocent farmers and their entire families who simply didn’t want to surrender their livestock, harvests, young children and even their privately owned properties and farms to the guerillas. I saw things that nauseate me to this day. Strangely enough I was starting to ‘get it’. I was slowly getting sucked into the leftist theology (that’s what it is). Praise God I got saved and delivered!
When I got saved and started reading the Bible, the first thing that happened (after I fell in love with EVERYONE, including little babies) was that the Bible told me to run from the left!!! That is one angry, quarrelsome group of people!!
Proverbs 22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
These pastors and seminary students who joined the revolution were in the thousands. Some I thought were true Christian brothers and sisters in the Lord. But all that I know of them now, every last one that survived, developed such an evil hate that it can only be described as demonic. They are furious, to this day, to the point of death. They hate anyone who doesn’t agree with them. I love them, I pray for them, but am scared of them. I have learned to walk away from their political delusional babblings.
Leftists (the extreme ones) get very angry if you disagree. They all, to this day, seek population control, hate what God loves, love what God hates, love huge taxes (of which their leaders are exempt). They HATE rich people (except for their leaders, whom they worship, and who are multi millionaires). They all love lies (global warming etc). They HATE Israel (the apple of God’s eye), they LOVE Palestine, (except no one knows where exactly Palestine is). They hate freedom of speech, hate AMERICA, hate guns in the hands of civilians and hate the voting process.
All of them are all alike. The scary thing is, after the wars of the 80-90’s, the pastors and theologians went back to the seminaries and pulpits unchanged, unrepentant. They are writing, arguing about and preaching liberation theology. I love them but can’t talk to them.
Get ready!! Don’t be deceived, Jesus is coming soon, MARANATHA! Don’t get sucked into the ‘angry party’ or the ‘angry movement’. It’s d’anger’ous to your soul, according to the Bible. Don’t fight them, love them.
