“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart; and you will find rest. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” —Matthew 11:25-30.
God’s character is humility. Satan’s character is pride. This is what I have gleaned ove the years that I have been saved about the difference between humilityand pride. If you’ve read this far, congratulations! You are humble enough to know you (as well as I need this).

HUMILITY is inquiring vs PRIDE is assuming
HUMILITY is loved by God vs PRIDE is hated
HUMILITY is hospitable vs PRIDE is not
HUMILITY is relaxed vs PRIDE is always correcting
HUMILITY is generous vs PRIDE is stingy
HUMILITY is preferring others vs PRIDE is selfish
HUMILITY is impressed PRIDE is not impressed
HUMILITY is not pretentious vs PRIDE is very
HUMILITY is upfront vs PRIDE is two faced
HUMILITY is not offended nor offensive PRIDE is
HUMILITY is calm vs PRIDE is volatile
HUMILITY is not worried vs PRIDE is worried
HUMILITY is not competitive vs PRIDE is
HUMILITY is listening vs PRIDE is talking
HUMILITY is discreet vs PRIDE is isn´t
HUMILITY is sharing vs PRIDE is hoarding
HUMILITY is seeking anonymity vs PRIDE is not
HUMILITY is genuine love vs PRIDE is self-love
HUMILITY is good vs PRIDE is bad
HUMILITY is giving vs PRIDE is taking
HUMILITY is truthful vs PRIDE is deceitful
HUMILITY is joy and peace vs PRIDE is strife
HUMILITY is courteous vs PRIDE is impolite
HUMILITY is ok with solitude vs PRIDE is not
HUMILITY is genuine vs PRIDE is false
HUMILITY is tough vs PRIDE is fragil
HUMILITY is brave vs PRIDE is cowardly
HUMILITY is loyal vs PRIDE is a traitor
HUMILITY is steadfast vs PRIDE is fickle
HUMILITY is solid vs PRIDE is moody
HUMILITY is patient vs PRIDE is interruptive
HUMILITY is prudent vs PRIDE is reckless
HUMILITY is gentle vs PRIDE is rude
HUMILITY is offering vs PRIDE is grabbing
HUMILITY is respectful vs PRIDE is intrusive
HUMILITY is waiting vs PRIDE is rushing
HUMILITY is encouraging vs PRIDE is discouraging
HUMILITY is sanity vs PRIDE is insanity
HUMILITY is down to earth vs PRIDE is delusional
HUMILITY is shy vs PRIDE is parades itself
HUMILITY is character vs PRIDE is lack thereof
HUMILITY is healthy vs PRIDE is unhealthy
HUMILITY is nice vs PRIDE is mean
HUMILITY is gracious vs PRIDE is judgemental
As we work on this, we will become more humble just by weighing everything in this way. Jesus was the only one who said He was humble without lying. Let’s continue to grow into Christ’s image and to encourage those whom we minister to grow into His image as well.
2 Cor 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
