Doin Nuttin

DoinNuttin isn’t a claim to innocence.

We are called to be ‘DoinSumpin’ not ‘DoinNuttin’.   Those who are obeying the call to do something, do so because they believe in the One who is calling them, and believe that the call is real.

Pureheart Update – WE STILL ARE DOING EVERYTHING WE CAN TO BRING IN CHILDREN INTO AN ORPHANAGE HERE IN MANAGUA AND THE ELDERLY TO AN OLD FOLKS HOME ON THE SAME PROPERTY TO LIVE PERMANENTLY.  THAT’S OUR DREAM. OUR KIDS ARE ALL GROWING, OUR OWN CHILDREN AS WELL AS PUREHEARTKIDS.  THEY ARE ALL PROSPERRING.

PROSPERRING MEANS BEING SUCCESSFUL. FOR ME TO PROSPER MEANS TO HELP OTHERS PROSPER.  PRIMARILY WITH THE SALVATION.  PEOPLE ARE GETTING HELPED AND SAVED.  DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES ARE FRUITFUL. WE’RE STILL HOLDING KID’S OANSA CHURCH, LOVE FEASTS, WORKING ON THE PUREHEART HOME (RIGHT NOW PLUMBING, SO MANY PEOPLE COME THROUGH HERE, 10x MORE WEAR AND TEAR), HELPING OTHER MINISTRIES, & OTHERS WITH MEDICINE, FOOD AND EDUCATION.

Please continue what you are doing to keep us going.. WHATEVER YOU’RE DOING, IT’S WORKING!!. pray, donate, visit us to and spread the word!

‘DoinNuttin’

Luke 12:20  God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

This is the only person that I know of in the Bible that God calls a fool.   Not good!

They say the fastest creature in the world is a toddler when you ask them what they have in their hand.   They say ‘nuttin!’ and take off running, FAST!    Even ‘Nuttin’ is something.  ‘DoinNuttin’ is either good or bad.

I think the most evil, vile thing I have ever seen on TV was an interview with Bill Gates.  They asked him if anything bothered him.  He said ‘no, nothing bothers me’.  Love is not just blowing kisses, singing ‘I wish to teach the world to sing’ and wishing people well.  Love is doing. Love is an action verb.  It’s about ‘doinSumpin’! It’s about stopping a wrong.  It’s about stopping perverts.  It’s about stopping child trafficking (something we have been fighting for 30 years. Long before #SaveTheChildren became a fashion statement.   Love is telling people that they are going to hell, to get saved by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.

James 4:17 So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin.

Children love the phrase ‘DoinNuttin’.  They say ‘I didn’t do nuttin’ when mom asks what they did to get in trouble.  As they grow up, they say to the high school principle who is about to punish them, ‘I didn’t do nuttin’.  On the job, something breaks, ‘I didn’t do nuttin’ is the standard answer for the boss.   ‘I didn’t do nuttin’ is a common phrase used with an angry spouse when they’re upset about something.  When they die and are before the throne of God though, if their response is ‘I didn’t do nuttin’, they are in BIG trouble!

2 Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

The old ‘I didn’t do nuttin’ line maybe worked in their physical lives sometimes, but not in their spiritual eternity (which is physical as well).  ‘DoinNuttin’ in fact is an open door for sin and disobedience.   Even Paul the Apostle.  He wanted to do what was right, and often he didn’t.

Romans 7:15 For what I want to do I do not do

The Peter Principal says that you will rise to your highest level of incompetence if you only keep your mouth shut and do the least possible. Soldiers get promotions, businessmen rise, workers stay employed by ‘DoinNuttin’ to draw negative attention to themselves.  Many times ‘DoinNuttin’ looks good because you’re not causing any problems. Soldiers who work hard get passed over for promotion by not being allowed to go to career enhancing schools because they are mission essential.  The soldiers who ‘DoinNuttin’ get sent to the schools and get the promotion, because it’s easier to transfer someone than to fire them. The hard working soldier doesn’t get to go anywhere because he has to be there, with the men, to keep things working smoothly.  Salesmen who don’t take risks are safe.  They don’t do very much, but they are safe.  The company’s ccountants and lawyers love them.  A great salesman is a lawyer and book keepers nightmare.  They are risk takers and get fired (yet they are the only ones bringing money into the company), or they conform and stop producing.  The worker who paces himself doing the minimum possible stays on the job longer.  ‘DoinNuttin’ is a good, safe, career enhancing strategy.

‘DoinNuttin’ seemed to work for the poor ‘rich’ man in Luke 12:20.  God Himself called him a fool in spite of the fact that the world probably admired him for the great wealth he had stored up for himself!  He kept his nose clean but did nothing for the Lord.  Did nothing for the poor!  It reminds me of the inventor of the typewriter, William Wycoff. Built a beautiful mansion on Carlton Island, NY.  He died in it the first night he slept there, from a heart attack at the age of 60.  Sure everyone has heard of the Remington Typewriter but did he share the Gospel?  What did he do with the truth he had heard?  There was a great revival in NYC and other parts during that time.  Did he get saved? Here’s an article about this

I have a hava a bad feeling about how it went for the rich man in Luke 12:20, William Wycoff and many other rich men when before the judgement seat of Christ.  He probably said to the Lord  ‘I didn’t do nuttin’ and Jesus probably said ‘depart from me, I never knew you’.

Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Rich people give money.  They are trying to look good.  One millionaire wanted to send me contraceptives so the unwed, baby mommies wouldn’t have babies.  I feel sorry for people like this, they mean well, but their minds are darkened by Satan.  Giving contraceptives to a 13 year old is saying prostitution at that age, and any kind of sex before marriage is ok.

We don’t have to ‘do nuttin’ to go to hell.   In fact, ‘DoinNuttin’ will send you to hell because you are already condemned.  We have darkened minds by nature.   When Jesus comes He gives us light,  thus the term ‘enlightenment’.   When you are enlightened, you stop ‘DoinNuttin’.

John 3:18. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

As I am teaching through the Book of Revelation here at PureHeartChildren’sFund Managua, we went over the outline for the book as described in Rev 1:19, past, present and future of the world. We just got into the future (the rapture, chapter 5).    It has affected me more than ever although I have taught the book of Revelation before.  It stirs a sense of urgency in me.  I don’t think it’s possible to really believe the Word of God and not feel the urgency to do something.   For the poor children and their parents in Nicaragua.  For my own wife and children, and for the people that don’t know the Lord yet.

If you think the world is a mess now (and it is), just wait til chapter 5!  We were in chapter 6 this AM and it was even more intense. Reading about the opening of the property deed of ownership to the world (breaking the 7 seals) after being in the hands of Satan for these past 7 centuries. (1000 after Adam’s fall the Abraham’s covenant of faith, 2000 years later Jesus. 2000 years later NOW, makes it impossible to ‘do nuttin’ IF YOU ARE A TRUE BELIEVER.

Believers!  Stop ‘doin nuttin’!

what do we need to do?

First we need to get saved.  We need to teach children and their parents that they need to get saved (first you have to show them you love them).  That’s why PureHeartChildrensFund exists.

John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

Then get busy and start ‘doin sumpin!’

John 9:4 I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

A parting thought.  AMERICA WILL CHANGE OVER NIGHT, for the better,  IF EVERY  BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN STARTED TO REALLY DO SOMETHING FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, LIVE LIKE THEY ACTUALLY BELIEVED.

Until NEXT WEEK, PUREHEARTS!
