Re-Fired

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Two great men of God, one in heaven now told me (one through Chat and another on a teaching tape said they’re not retired, they’re re-fired!    I like that!   God is able!   Golden jewelry can be remelted (re-fires) and made to be something completely different. Wedding rings can become candle holders or bracelets.  Also, being re-fired can make you cleaner.

Malachi 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

Also, re-fired means ‘fired up again!’  So many people that were fired up about Jesus when we first met, are now fired out about stuff.   Like their favorite battle verse in the Bible, politics, gold prices, their kids etc etc.  I am shocked.   Since Winnie and I started  having health problems, and the ever present problems with the Gov’t, it has been suggested by a lot of well wishing friends that we retire.   That really annoys me, it shouldn’t but it does.  They can retire if they want to, I have no problem with that, but we have a real calling from GOD.   How do you re-fire for the Lord?? First off, repent!

Rev2:4-5 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 2:4-5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Then, stir up your faith.   It’s always been there.   Just stir it up again by doing what you have always done.   Read the Bible, talk about Jesus strangers. Make sure your faith is real.   Cry out to God.   Spend time with Him.

2 Timothy 1:6

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee
