(PART# 3 of 6 “i’s” that lead to desp’I’sing God,‘Intrusion’)
1 Sam 2:30 for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed
Intrusion – To thrust or bring in without invitation.
Proverbs 25:6. Put not forth yourself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men…… in other words, don’t push for a place among the great! Be invited to be up front.
The squeaky wheel gets the grease is not scriptural. Although many people use this phrase to get help with something, is it always wise to apply this principle? It’s not Godly nor edifying. It’s often a bad testimony. Being annoying is a great way to intrude, to be noticed, but not on the way you hoped it to be. Unless it’s to get your child seen in an Emergency Room or something urgent, it’s not worth it.
Sometimes we, as a part of humanity, get anxious to be noticed or to receive something. We push ahead of others in lines (when we were kids). We cried when we were babies and felt ignored. Teenagers make absolute fools of themselves to stand out from the rest to gain the attention of others. As adults, we try desperately to be noticed by people who can help us get ahead in life, like bosses or distinguished people. It’s better to Try to intrude only on God. Show off to Him your desire to do whatever is needed to be closer. He can take it. He adores you. He wants you to desire to be with Him more than anything else.
Mathew 11:12 heaven….and the violent take it by force.
The best way to get noticed by others, if you must, is to trust in God. Let Him get you noticed by the people He wants you to be noticed by. In reality, we really don’t know who it is. Be honorable, noble and respectful to everyone and people will talk good things about you. Be a trifling and offensive person to everyone and people will also talk. Even to the person you’re in the act of brown nosing will hear about it. Pray, there’s much power in it. Obey what God shows you to do through His word, even more power in that. Be thankful always. Combine these three things and you WILL achieve what God has for you in this life.
If you try to get noticed by your own efforts, it usually doesn’t work out so well. You despise God when you aggressively seek to get in front of the right(?) people, because you are not trusting Him. If you want your boss to like you and to promote you, just follow what the Bible says. Work for him as unto the Lord.
Colossians 3:23-24 KJV – And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: (and also maybe a promotion, a double win).
Sometimes we just really like or admire someone, and want to get close to them. Ladies, for example sometimes pick lint off of shirts or adjust collars of people they admire! That just makes the object of their attention cringe, and want to run away. If you are asked for help (invited) it’s great. But otherwise, it’s intrusive, uninvited, and is actually disrespecting the person. Disrespecting someone is not honoring them. By dishonoring others you are dishonoring God.
People that are intrusive by nature have an agenda, very much guided by pride. Intrusion’s acts say, ‘I am important, you’re not.’ I think people start intrusive habits when they are kids. Parents can easily break that pattern. Kids break up conversations between adults for example. The parent can either teach them that it’s ok or not. Intrusive kids turn into intrusive adults. It’s ok to firmly tell your kid when they ask what you’re talking about to say ‘grown up stuff, go play.”
Intrusive people are angry people. Often narcissistic. They live life on the offensive, prying and inserting themselves where they don’t need to be. Often to their own peril. The Bible talks about a great king that invited himself to a battle to help his friend. He got killed. Intrusive people never get invited. Intrusive people always involve the other 2 ‘I’s. They place ‘me, myself and I’ first, and they interrupt because what they have to say is always more important than what the speaker is saying. All Christians need to ask themselves constantly ‘am I invited?’ If not, you’re intruding. Christians are to grow into the image of Christ. Jesus doesn’t intrude. Neither should Christians
Neither God the Father, God the Son, nor God the Holy Spirit are intrusive. Demons yes, Satan too, but God isn’t! God won’t even enter your life to save your soul unless you invite Him to.
Revelation 3:20. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

So we are giving out 1050 Christmas presents to kids 2-12 over the next two weeks. That means PureHeartChildren.org is ministering to 1050 kids in that age bracket. Add to that a couple hundred UNDER that age bracket. and probably another 2000 kids over that age bracket. 3000 plus another 3000 family members means Winnie and I (and our small staff) are impacting over 6000 lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Not bad considering it’s funded by my retirement income and some generous donors. Thank you God, and thank you for your gifts, prayers, and encouragement!

- FOR THE ORPHANAGE THAT I KNOW IS IN OUR FUTURE. NOT ONLY AN ORPHANAGE, BUT AN OLD FOLKS HOME AS WELL. I THINK THE TWO CAN BE SIDE BY SIDE ON THE SAME PROPERTY, IT’S ONLY A MATTER OF MONEY. IT WOULD BE A BLESSING TO THE OLD FOLKS TO HEAR KIDS PLAYING, AND IT WOULD BE A BLESSING FOR THE KIDS TO HAVE ABUELAS AND ABUELOS.
- ALL PAPERWORK AND LAWYER WORK, AND NGO BOOKS HAVE BEEN REJECTED TO BE RENEWED AGAIN. 5TH TIME. CHANGES HAPPENING AS FAR AS LIMITATIONS IN WHAT WE CAN DO AND A TON OF MORE FINES, PAPERWORK AND GOVERNMENTAL STUFF. BUT THESE BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN (AGES -09 MONTHS TO 120 YEARS OLD), THE PEOPLE WE SERVE, AND THE KINGDOM OF GOD, MORE THAN WORTH IT!
