If it isn’t sustainable it probably isn’t from God
Ecclesiastes 7:8 – Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

As of 0000, 01 Jan 2022 millions of dollars in gym memberships and exercise machines were bought. Billions of weird diets were started. An untold number of early morning routines were commenced. Vows were made to stop cheating, lying, cussing, smoking, over eating, drugging, drinking, and all other types of disgusting habits. Attitudes and relationships were promised to improve. TV’s were thrown away. New Years resolutions were made by the trillions. Just like every year. And just like every year, not only haven’t people changed, but because of that, the world hasn’t changed either.
People go back to the way they were a few days after New Year’s Day. I know that I have 🙁 The only changes permanent that could possibly happen at that time is a decision to surrender you life to Jesus Christ. That doesn’t change because God is greater than the influences and temporary leadership of the world.
i don’t know about you, but I’ve already broken most of my new years resolutions 🙁 Maybe I’ll do better in 2023 if the lord lets me 🙂
The only thing I know of for a Guaranteed sustainable change for a New Year’s resolution is spiritual rebirth, or spiritual recommitments. To go from darkness to light is a permanent change! When you actually see the kingdom of God, everything else pales in comparison. Sustainability is the only option once the Creator of the Universe comes into your heart.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
I submit to you that if everyone on the planet truly accepted the Lord Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, (be born again) the whole world would change immediately. Drug pushers, Liquor stores, bars, strip joints, cigarette companies and pornography venders would soon be out of business. Abortion clinics would close because unwanted births would go way day, and the demand for abortions would stop. Wars would cease because all the greedy businessmen and politicians would stop lying, manipulating and being ugly.
That unfortunately will never happen. The Bible is clear. Most people will never truly repent of their sins and believe in Jesus for their salvation. There is only one real sin in the world that will send you to hell. Unbelief in Jesus.

Time is short. Even if it wasn’t, we are all going to die someday. Only Thing that matters is if you believe on (count on) Jesus to be saved or not. Believers go to heaven, unbelievers don’t 🙁 Rev 21:8
If you believe on Jesus (totally trusting in Him, counting on Him and nothing else) you are saved. If you don’t believe in Jesus, then I want to encourage you to beg God for the ability to believe. If everyone made a decision to believe in Jesus, and to tell others that they believe in Jesus, they would be saved, the world would change in one day.
Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Some of the other stuff that goes With christianity is not so important. Learn what’s important. Focus on that. Time is Short, either for your personal life span (120 years Compared to eternity is nothing) or the Imminent return of Christ. Ask God what he wants you to do And what Not. If it’s from God it’s sustainable.
For example, A guy once told me that God ‘told him to tell me’ to start another feeding center on the other side of town (2 hours of traffic). First off, God is not a gossip. He will show me personally. I will do it, if and when He shows me. God had not shown me to do that, Nevertheless, God does say to not ‘despise Prophesy’. That means there are some real prophesies happening, not many, but some. I have heard a few people truly prophesy into my life (less than a handful) and they blessed me to this day. I have also heard hundreds of thousands of Other people who took themselves as modern day prophets, but they’re Weren’t. Because there are a few real prophesies out there, I have to just weed through them. I Don’t want to throw the baby out with the bath water. But i am quick to walk away when i see it’s Nonsense. You only learn To recognize that When you spend enough time with the lord.
Sustainability is my key sign for Something from God. He will never sway from what He says. He will never call me personally to do something that is not sustainable. So I listened to this man’s supposed prophesy.
1 Thess 5:20-21 Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good
I listened patiently, then just walked away from him without even an answer if i recall right. He might have been looking to take advantage of me, had self interests, or was listening to a different ‘god’. But he wasn’t prophesying from my God. I knew that because;
1. what he said was not sustainable.
2. it was the first time I heard of it, and it didn’t register with my spirit man. It didn’t stir me up inside.
God wasn’t planting it in my heart, so, no Way jose!
God does however lead me to perform random acts of kindness, but never to implement something that is unsustainable. That’s not His character, as far as him dealing with me that is. I know quite a few holy ghost hobos With passports filled with pretty stamps from all over the world, but i am not one of them. it may look spiritual, but for me it would be sin because i would be disobeying God.
Mishearing from god is the main reason that I believe that there are so many half built and abandoned evangelica churches dotting Nicaragua’s country side. Pastors sometimes think God tells them to build a church but they are mistaken. Sometimes it’s all on them, or sometimes they let people influence them, maybe even promising them finances and stuff. But if they didn’t hear it from God, and did it anyway, they are in error. They spent thousands in man hour and materials in vain. God wasn’t in it, so it wasn’t sustainable. If God isn’t pushing you to do something, don’t do it.
Cursed is man who confides in man but blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord! Jeremiah 17:10
If you don’t hear it from God, it’s probably because God isn’t showing you to do it. some things I hear clearly from God. For example, the OldFolks Home and Orphanage on the same property. That is way out of our league. We hace no money to do it with. Not the right staff (we would need experienced professionals because it is too dangerous legally for winnie and i to do it like we did the last time. We don’t have the property, and proper is going through the roof down here. it maybe won’t even happen in my own lifetime but I know God wants Us to build towards it.
The Winnerhome is providing much fruit for the kingdom, and God is blessing it, but it’s not meeting the new codes that the government has just came up with for an orphanage. (Not enough legroom etc). And it won’t work for an old folks home because it’s 2 stories. But God’s will for the Winnerhome now appears to be completed. Not only is it a feeding center /school for poor Underprivileged children and a base for missionaries, but God has shown us to possibly start a real church here with Pastor Marlon Cabrera (of Verbo Church fame). We’re praying for that but Let’s see how it goes. Pastor Marlon already had his first service here, and it went great.
Lord willing Marlon will have Church here and we’ll get another place for the old folks home and orphanage, preferably already built. Getting kind of sick of Construction because all of the materials are costing and more every day, if you can get them.
How do you know If your dream is sustainable though? How do you count costs? My accounting is God. He is the owner of the cattle of a thousand hills. If He shows us to do Something, it will be done and it will be sustainable, with or without me. Irregardless of time or cost. I was learning about solomon’s Temple today. It to an extreme long time, and cost billions of dollars. Did that bother god? Not in the least!
god shows us to build, or buy, and then we do as Soon as we can.
Everything We built down here is still being used for the glory Of god. As of now we built 2 orphanages, 1 church, 4 schools and countless feeding, all the buildings in use for ministry still as far as i can tell.
If God is in it, costs will be covered. Instead of counting costs. You can just as easily count on jesus, (God’s Word as well as father God’s Son)and God’s promises.
Luke 14:28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

1. School years ended, all the kids got their presents. God is good, thank you!
2. The home back up power plant is a few days from arriving. Thank you, we desperately need it! They say it should be installed next week.
3. We have a lot of broken stuff, painting that needs to be done, light construction repairs. We spent the rainy season fixing other homes, but ours has fallen in dissarry. Praise God that we have the time to get to it without a bunch of school kids running around. Thank you for your help.
4. English class, Daily Bible studies, school and feeding centers are all going well.
Pureheart Update – New room and warehouse finished. We are painting, repairing the school´s classrooms, bathrooms, (lots of plumbling and electrical stuff going on) and we are improving our school’s computer abilities.

1. For Souls and Fruit.
2. FOR HEALING OF LOVED ONES WITH EVERYTHING FROM CANCER TO MENTAL ILLNESS.
3. FOR HOME VISITATIONS TO PRODUCE RESULTS, FOR VISITORS TO OUR HOME TO GET SAVED. FOR THE FAMILIES AND PARENTS OF ALL THE PUREHEART WORKERS TO GET SAVED.
4. FOR OUR 2 FEEDING CENTERS AND THE TWO OTHER FEEDING CENTERS THAT WE HELP. FOR OUR SISTER FEEDING CENTER IN ISLAMBAD PAKISTAN.
5. AS WE ARE HELPING OTHERS WITH EMERGENCY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS *THIS CONTINUOUS RAINY SEASON DESTROYS THE SHACKS THAT MANY OF OUR PEOPLE LIVE IN*. THAT WE BE THE LIGHT AND PEACE OF JESUS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORM.
7. GOVERNMENTAL PAPERWORK, although everything is stopped for another week! I CALL IT ´DEATH BY 1000 PAPERCUTS’. IT IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, FRUSTRATING, AND EXPENSIVE. AMONG OF WHICH IS FOR PERMISSION TO HAVE AN ORPHANAGE-OLDFOLKS HOME ON A SUSTAINABLE GREEN FARM IN THE MANAGUA CITY LIMITS. THIS IS THE 4TH TIME IN TEN YEARS THAT WE HAVE HAD TO START AGAIN FROM SCRATCH EVERYTHING FROM ALL THE ACCOUNTING, BOOKS, AND PERMISSIONS FOR THE ORPHANAGE. EVEN FORECED INTO REINCORPORATING DOWN HERE. IT GETS TOUGHER EVERY TIME, BUT WE AREN´T GOING ANYWHERE. THE LEGAL AND CPA PAPERWORK AND ACCOUNTABILITY IS ESPECICALLY TOUGH.
8. THE DELAY IS OK, BECAUSE WE ARE STILL WAITING ON THE LORD TO PROVIDE THE MONEY AND THE PERFECT RESOURCES FOR ALL THE FULL TIME STAFF, DOCTOR, NURSE, AIDES ETC THAT COME WITH A FARM THAT HAS ROOM FOR AN ORPHANAGE AND AN OLD FOLKS HOME ON IT, AS WELL AS THE PROPERTY ITSELF. EVEN WITH JUST AN ORPHANAGE HERE, OUR STAFF WILL ALMOST HAVE TO DOUBLE IN SIZE PER NICARAGUAN REGULATIONS
