Mayday 2015 THE Message (Por favor, desplácese hacia abajo PARA ESPAÑOL)
Our message needs to be singular, and to the point. I see that more and more as i look at my past blunders. My mistakes were always made when i took my eyes off the Cross of Calvary.
When we meet others, and as we build relationships, the only thing that I have found that matters is how we demonstrate Jesus and His great love for us sinners. Otherwise we seem like the watch salesman in old cartoons wearing a top coat which hides a hundred different watches pinned to the inner lining. Everything we share suddenly cheapens in value, when we deviate from the one and only Message..
Our goal should be for a ‘one message surgical strike’ from the first moment we meet someone throughout the rest of the time that they are in our lives. The only message true believers should have is that God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die for us. If we are constantly striving to honestly live out that Message for others to be easily seen, things will drastically change. When we forget or take our eyes off of THE message, a lot of little insignificant opinions, attitudes and ideas will quickly cloud everything up.
Negative things, bad weather, good weather, great things, bad things, positive things can always give us the opportunity to share our message. Being the son of a teacher, I always tried to teach. Manners, punctuality, ethics, hygiene, religion, health, routine, habits, politics etc. etc. all seem to be really important themes to the teacher. But those things are valueless without THE message. Once the message is understood and received, everything else falls into place.
I am recently aware of the fact that i not a teacher. I am just a traffic cop directing everyone to the Teacher and His Message.
Instead of complaining, i now try to sincerely compliment. When someone sneers at me, I try to smile back. When people talk about me, I try to talk nothing but good things about them. When they hold a grudge, I forgive (try). Bullies I kill with love. Instead of being a grump about bad service I try to be nice and to pay tips joyously. If prices are reasonable, such as taxis, I pay without quibbling (even though we are expected to do so).. People HAVE to see a difference between true believers and the rest of the world. Up til now I haven’t been doing a very good job, but I intend to change that, with God’s help.. I KNOW that He is the one showing me this.
Joy, love, kindness, patience, peace, compassion and understanding should be our trademark. The longer I live the more I realize how far I have to go to consistently demonstrate the message of God’s great love through this trademark..
Rainy days are negative for a toddler. NO RECESS! But after a long drought, we had a rainy recess today, Praise God!!!

May 2015 el mensaje
Nuestro mensaje tiene que ser singular, y al punto. Mis errores siempre se hicieron cuando tomé mis ojos del mensaje de la Cruz del Calvario.
Cuando nos encontramos con otros, y mientras construimos relaciones, lo único que he encontrado que importa es cómo demostrarles a Jesús y su gran amor por nosotros, los pecadores. De otro modo nos parece como un vendedor de los relojes en los dibujos animados antiguos que llevan una capa superior que esconde un centenar de relojes diferentes clavado en el revestimiento interior. Todo lo que compartimos abarata en valor de viaje cuando nos desviamos de la única mensaje importante.
Nuestra meta debe ser para un “ataque quirúrgico de un solo mensaje” desde el primer momento en que nos encontramos con alguien hasta el resto del tiempo que están en nuestras vidas. El único mensaje verdaderos creyentes deben tener es que Dios nos ama tanto que envió a Su único Hijo a morir por nosotros. Si nos esforzamos constantemente para vivir honestamente que mensaje para que otros puedan verse fácilmente, las cosas van a cambiar dramáticamente. Cuando nos olvidamos o tomamos nuestros ojos del mensaje, un montón de pequeños insignificantes opiniones, actitudes e ideas se nublan con rapidez el agua.
Las cosas negativas, mal tiempo, buen tiempo, grandes cosas, cosas malas, cosas positivas siempre puede darnos la oportunidad de compartir nuestro mensaje. Siendo hijo de un maestro, siempre he tratado de enseñar. Los modales, puntualidad, de ética, de higiene, religión, salud, rutina, hábitos, política, etc, etc todos parecen ser temas muy importantes para el profesor. Pero esas cosas son sin valor sin EL mensaje. Una vez que se entiende EL mensaje y recibido, todo lo demás cae en su lugar.
Acabo de darme cuenta yo no soy un maestro. Yo sólo soy un policía de tránsito dirigiendo cada persona que encuentro al Maestro y SU mensaje.
En lugar de quejarse, yo ahora trato de complementar. Cuando alguien se burla de mí, o me de la trompa, trato de devolverle una sonrisa. Cuando la gente habla mal de mí, trato de hablar nada más que cosas buenas acerca de ellos. Cuando otros guardan rencor, yo perdono (intento). Los Bully les mato con amor. En lugar de ser un gruñón sobre el mal servicio que trato de ser amable y pagar propina alegremente. Si los precios son razonables, tales como taxis, pago sin pedir un descuento (a pesar de que se espera que lo haga) .. La gente tiene que ver una diferencia entre los verdaderos creyentes y el resto del mundo. Hasta ahora no he estado haciendo un trabajo muy bueno, pero tengo la intención de cambiar eso, con la ayuda de Dios .. Yo sé que él es el que mostró esto.
La alegría, el amor, la bondad, la paciencia, la paz y el entendimiento debe ser nuestra marca. Cuanto más vivo, cuanto más me doy cuenta de lo lejos que me tengo que ir para demostrar consistentemente el mensaje del gran amor de Dios por medio de esta marca .
Los días de lluvia son negativos para un niño pequeño. NO RECREO! Pero después de una sequía de largo plazo, tuvimos un recreo de lluvias hoy ,, Gloria a Dios !!!
