Mark 9:24 I believe Lord! Help Thou my unbelief!
I don’t know about anyone else, that is one of my most repeated prayers. Especially now when everything we do down here has to be ‘under the radar’ due to the powers that be, south of the border.
The anxiety, depression and disappointment has wreaked havoc in my spiritual life.
I used to brag about only ‘performing for an audience of one’ but it sure is nice to be encouraged by more than one. But God is the only one who counts, and I know He is watching what Winnie and I do for the whosoevers and least of these we do unto Him.. We seek Him, and worship Him in our works of love, even though we can’t post like we are used to. Jesus said in:
Matthew 25:40 whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers you do unto me.
Our faith exists only in Him and He is the only one that counts. Only Jesus saves. When we bite our tongues, lend a hand, forgive, guard our eyes, for His glory, it’s His faith that encourages us.
Pray for us. They closed over 8000 American NGOS down here, and we’re in the process of regaining our status but one report or complaint can get me kicked out of the country, so until then, mum’s the Word. But God knows all. All this has weakened my faith, and caused doubt, but God is strong and faithful.
It’s God’s faith, not ours! We’re not going anywhere! Onward and upward. It’s all Jesus! His faith. His power. Even our ability to believe is from Jesus! Ask Him to help you with your unbelief, it’s ok!
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ.
I still have God’s faith, and it’s all sufficient, and as strong as faith can be. However, we as human beings are doubtful. We even doubt His faith.
My faith is persistent though and I have found that the more I exercise it, the less room there is for doubt. Most of what we springs out of faith. We do it out of the Love that Has been shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. Both the love of God (and obedience to Him) and the people we continue to help. You can’t love what you doubt.
Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me..
So if your faith is weak, praise God, you have faith! Without Faith it’s impossible to please God! Don’t quit!!
Hebrew 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
