Psalm 71 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust.
Trust is a choice. Trustworthy people choose to trust everyone until they get a reason not to. If you can be trusted you see no reason not to trust someone else. You can forgive them for breaking your trust, but you will be more cautious with them in the future.
A wise person trusts God. They are smart because they know God will never let them down. The more you trust God the more you know you CAN trust Him. You show your trust in God by obeying Him. Nothing but good things happen ULTIMATELY if you do. The only option to fully trusting in God is to not trust Him and to fully trust something else that isn’t God. The outcome for trusting anything other than God is always BAD. Many people turn to God and trust Him after learning that nothing else can fully be trusted. You really can’t even trust your own heart.
Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
The world’s population is divided in two types of people. Those who trust the only One and True God, and those who don’t. When you trust and obey your parents, boss or rulers you are obeying God because you are respecting the authorities that God told you to obey and trust.
Romans 13 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
That being said, you shouldn’t trust wolves. Wolves can be persuasive, even use holy sounding words and scripture. You need to trust God and His ability to guide you, IF you are born of again of God.
Romans 8:14
For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
For example Jesus was asked by Satan to trust him, but He didn’t, because He had the Holy Spirit.
Mathew 4:6. And (Satan) saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus didn’t trust Satan even though he seemed religious and was quoting scripture. Jesus probably had a check in His Spirit. Jesus divinely (by the Holy Spirit) knew He was being manipulated, so He didn’t trust Satan. Jesus had just been baptized by the Holy Spirit and went 40 days without eating in the dessert specifically to be tempted of Satan. The Holy Spirit led Him to go into the wilderness to be tempted AFTER He had the Holy Spirit.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth
I don’t think Jesus was feeling very much like the Son of God when He saw Satan, but He was filled with the Holy Spirit. I think He was even feeling weak and vulnerable and alone at the time. He hadn’t eaten anything in over a month! But the Holy Spirit gave Him discernment and strength. The Bible said He was tempted, but He didn’t trust Satan, thereby avoiding his tricks.
Jesus lived for 33 years on this earth, trusting fully only in His heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. He succeeded because of that. When you only trust God, and hear from Him, why listen to anyone else?
Satan knew Jesus wouldn’t trust him any more, so he tried to use Peter (who wasn’t filled yet with the Holy Spirit yet) to disuade Him from going to the cross, but Jesus recognized it was Satan, and rebuked him.
Satan used other people in Jesus’ greatest moment of weakness.
They said to Him as Jesus was dying for our sins. Matthew 27:40 ….If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross!
Jesus faithfully trusted God, even in His death. For His whole life on earth, and for eternity. So do we, hopefully until our deaths.
We also teach the children to trust only in God as well, until the end.
Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.

Salmo 71 En ti, oh Señor, pongo mi confianza.
La confianza es una decisión. Las personas confiables eligen confiar en todos hasta que tengan una razón para no hacerlo. Puede perdonarlos por romper su confianza, pero será más cauteloso con ellos en el futuro.
Una persona sabia confía en Dios. Dios nunca los defraudará. Cuanto más confías en Él, más sabes que PUEDES confiar en Él. Muestras tu confianza obedeciendo a Dios. Nada más que cosas buenas suceden ULTIMADAMENTE si lo haces. La única opción para confiar en Dios es confiar en cualquier otra cosa que no sea Dios. El resultado por confiar en algo que no sea Dios es siempre MALO. Muchas personas recurren a Dios y confían en Él después de enterarse de que nada más se puede confiar plenamente. Realmente ni siquiera puedes confiar en tu propio corazón.
Jeremías 17: 9 El corazón es engañoso sobre todas las cosas, y desesperadamente malvado: ¿quién puede saberlo?
La población mundial se divide en dos tipos de personas. Los que confían en el único y verdadero Dios, y los que no lo hacen. Cuando confías y obedeces a tus padres, jefes o gobernantes, estás obedeciendo a Dios porque respetas a las autoridades que Dios te dijo que obedecieras.
Romanos 13 Que cada alma esté sujeta a los poderes superiores. Porque no hay poder sino de Dios: los poderes que existen son ordenados por Dios.
Dicho esto, no debes confiar en los lobos. Por ejemplo, Satanás le pidió a Jesús que confiara en él, pero no lo hizo.
Mateo 4: 6. Y (Satanás) le dijo: Si eres el Hijo de Dios, échate abajo; porque está escrito: Él dará a sus ángeles el cargo por ti; y en sus manos te llevarán, no sea que te apresures tu pie contra una piedra
Jesús no confiaba en Satanás a pesar de que parecía religioso citando las escrituras. Jesús sabía que estaba siendo manipulado, por eso no confiaba en él. Jesús acababa de ser bautizado por el Espíritu Santo y pasó 40 días sin comer en el postre específicamente para ser tentado por Satanás. El Espíritu Santo lo guió.
Juan 16:13 Sin embargo, cuando él, el Espíritu de verdad, haya venido, te guiará a toda verdad
No creo que Jesús se sintiera mucho como el Hijo de Dios, pero estaba lleno del Espíritu Santo. Creo que incluso se sentía débil, vulnerable y solo. Pero el Espíritu Santo le dio discernimiento. La Biblia dice que fue tentado, pero no confió en Satanás y no cayó en sus trampas.
